Thank you for visiting Innerspring Counselling.

I have been practicing for 14 years and I'm a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) having qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist at Roehampton University completing a B.s c Hons degree and have completed numerous courses for my continued learning and education to enhance my practise and clinical skills.

I have also worked with Mind Mental Health, and private rehabilitation clinics for alcohol and drug rehabilitation in work placements as part of my degree. In addition to this I have worked as a therapist for the Everyman Project providing therapy for Anger Management and domestic abuse.

Since then, I have worked extensively in private practice with adults and adolscents from all walks of life helping them to work through the challenges that life has presented to them. My areas of specialism are depression, anxiety, alcohol dependency, drug addictionc, childhood trauma and post-traumatic stress and I also work with people diagnosed with clinical pyschosis.

I work with a welcoming and multi-cultural approach to therapy regardless of background or beliefs and appreciate the value of diversity and inclusiveness within life and society.

I also provide specialist health and lifestyle counselling in partnership with an Osteopathic Doctor to help people to understand and resolve the psychological components and impact of physical bodily pain. Prior to becoming a Psychotherapist I worked as a health coach for 11 years helping my clients to improve the quality of their life through Nutrition, Exercise and the management of stress working for small and medium sized businesses and the genral public providing my services.

Benefits of Psychotherapy

Could you benefit from having a calming and safe place to talk outside of your family and friends to help you work-through and resolve the prevailing issues in your life?

Ways that Psychotherapy can benefit your life?

  • to talk through the issues that are impacting your life
  • to explore your thoughts and feelings and gain clarity
  • to better understand yourself and get back on the front foot again
  • to harness your inner strength and resilience
  • to remove the blocks that are hindering your progress in life pursuits
  • to feel understood in a non-judgemental space
  • to cope better with the stresses and strains of everyday life

How to get Started?

As it can be a daunting task to engage and find a therapist it is important that you feel comfortable with the person that you choose to work with. To give you an opportunity to answer any initial questions you may have and to gain a sense of how therapy can help you I offer a FREE 30 minute Telephone Conversation and personal introduction.

Introductory Session

If you would like to proceed beyond the initial call, I offer a 75-minute introductory session to establish a basis for working together and to go through the significant events in your life, mental health history and family history, with further exploration into your reasons for seeking therapy and your personal therapy-goals.

Weekly Sessions

I subsequently offer weekly 50-minute Psychotherapy Sessions in most instances with greater frequency for those that wish to engage in therapy in a more focused manner. Unfortunately, I do not offer sessions on a basis of less than weekly frequency. Sessions are offered on an open-ended basis with regular reviews of the direction and progress of therapy so that you can decide how long you wish to engage with the process. Sessions are offered either in person from my practice in Epsom and Ewell or online via video call.
